Some reasons why coatings fail:
- Concrete surface was not properly prepared and profiled
- Mechanically grind the surface
- Shot blast the surface
- Chemically etch the concrete
- Relative Humidty too high - surface sweating during application
- Vapor transmission
- moisture passing through the slab is too high
- Wrong coating selected
- Match the floor system to the intended use
- Match the floor system that can handle the
vapor transmission level of the slab
